I have to do a book review for a class of mine and I’m not sure how to do it. Does anyone know of a site where I can look at examples?

Amazon is a good source, because it collects reviews from Publishers Weekly, Booklist, Kirkus and others.

Bookmarks Magazine is a great source (bookmarksmagazine.com). They compile reviews and ratings from numerous noteable sources on featured books all in one place. They don’t give you the full review from each critic – there just isn’t enough room in the magazine – but it will have a general overview of the book, the rating (average number of “stars”), the snippets from the chosen critics and a critical summary.
If you click on the link to the most recent edition, it should give you some good ideas.
And of course there is always the New York Times Sunday Book Review section (nytimes.com/pages/books). When I’m searching for something new to read from an up-and-coming author, I’ll check out Small Spiral Notebook (smallspiralnotebook.com). They have a section dedicated to reviews. If you want edgier fare, then check out the Words section of the A.V. Club (avclub.com).
